Travel Guide to Patagonia

Introduction

Patagonia is one of the most remote and spectacular regions on the planet. It spans the southern parts of Argentina and Chile, covering over one million square kilometers of steppes, glaciers, and mountains.

How to Get There

The most common entry point is the city of Bariloche, with direct flights from Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile.

From Argentina

Flights from Buenos Aires depart daily from Ezeiza International Airport. The journey lasts approximately two hours.

From Chile

The usual route is to fly to Punta Arenas and continue by bus to Torres del Paine.

What to Visit

Torres del Paine

  • The classic journey lasts between four and five days and covers the main viewpoints of the park. It is accessible for hikers with moderate experience.
